This site is a replacment/upgrade to www.howtonetwork.net which opened in 2006. The site quickly grew and has helped over 5000 students study for their Cisco certifications.
The site was built on a membership platform using Coldfusion so as technology developed and mobile devices were introduced the site became hard to change and manage. In order to meet students needs we changed to www.howtonetwork.com in October 2013 and expanded to offer far more IT certifications. We added this site as both a replacement to howtonetwork.net and also as a free bonus to members of howtonetwork.com for those who wish to use it.

Paul passed his MCSE and CCNA/CCNP and then in 2002 started his own IT company offering consultancy and training services. In 2005 he wrote CCNA Simplified which he converted into an online Cisco certification website www.howtonetwork.net. In 2010 he created the 60 Days to CCNA book and website. Both of these sites have helped over 6000 students study for their Cisco exams. In 2013 Paul launched www.howtonetwork.com offering certification training for multiple certifications.
In 2012 Paul moved to Australia. He currently lives in Perth with his wife and three daughters.
