Cisco’s legacy three-layer hierarchical network model must be mastered in order to understand the changes that developed the new and improved enterprise architecture model.
The enterprise architecture model leverages the hierarchical model by adding new modules, submodules, and components (i.e., building blocks) to make it more modular.
