As previously stated, the well-known NO_EXPORT community can be used to prevent the local routers within AS 123 from advertising Partner and Internet prefixes to external peers. Continuing with this example, router E1 would be configured with a route map that set the community to NO_EXPORT for all prefixes received from ISP A. A similar route map would also be configured on router E4 to set the same community for the single prefix that is also received from Partner B. These community values would be included in the UPDATE messages sent to the other BGP speakers within AS 123 . . .
