QoS and Advanced Catalyst Services – Configuring Switches to Support Cisco IP Phones

Cisco IP phones are part of the Cisco IP Telephony solution. Cisco IP phones typically have two or three Ethernet ports that allow the phone to be connected to the switch, and also allow users to be connected to the switch, via the phone. This is illustrated in Figure 10-1 below.
